As the Chief Executive Officer of Forgefield Ltd, Samuel Nsorh Anaba is the visionary leader driving the company’s mission to deliver reliable, sustainable infrastructure and supply chain solutions across Ghana. With a strategic focus on aligning robust engineering with long-term socio-economic development, Samuel oversees a diverse portfolio encompassing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) infrastructure, large-scale agribusiness, general construction, and complex logistics. Under his leadership, Forgefield Ltd has transitioned from a traditional operational model into a forward-thinking enterprise capable of executing high-impact, vertically integrated projects. Samuel is particularly passionate about transitioning vital rural infrastructure—such as community boreholes—away from the flawed "build and abandon" charity model toward a sustainable, carbon-financed utility model that guarantees decades of continuous operational maintenance. Core Competencies & Responsibilities: ● Strategic Corporate Direction: Steering the overarching vision of Forgefield Ltd, ensuring that all five core divisions—Borehole Drilling, Construction, Agribusiness, Logistics, and Trading—operate synergistically to maximize market reach and operational efficiency. ● Infrastructure & Project Development: Leading the conceptualization and execution of critical national projects, notably the ambitious scale-up to 1,000 sustainable, carbon-monetized boreholes across underserved regions like the Upper East by 2030. ● Stakeholder & Partnership Management: Serving as the primary liaison between Forgefield Ltd and high-level stakeholders, including government agencies (such as the EPA and Carbon Market Office), international climate finance platforms, and community leadership. ● Financial & Operational Oversight: Directing capital expenditure (CAPEX) strategies and ensuring strict quality control, risk mitigation, and compliance across all heavy engineering and agricultural supply chain operations. ● Sustainable Innovation: Championing the integration of modern climate finance mechanisms (such as Gold Standard carbon credits and digital MRV systems) into traditional infrastructure projects to guarantee long-term financial viability and environmental impact. ● Climate Action & Reforestation: Passionate about combating climate change, with a strong focus on addressing deforestation in the northern region of Ghana and implementing sustainable One life, One tree initiatives.
